Last night I had the loveliest evening with Evin—one of the first friends I made in college. Our friendship has been on quite the journey and I am so happy to have such an open-hearted, kind, funny, radiant, straight-shooter friend who always keeps a good head on her shoulders (oh and also has the most magical, genuine LAUGH).

Today I’ve been working on a project for a Jewish organization/client and want to use a few Yiddish expressions in some of the copy. After a bit of research, I’m feeling overwhelmed by the list of awesome seldom used Yiddish phrases. Here are my favorites in no particular order.

Best. Hanukkah. Ever.

Snail Mail FAIL
How come we only send and receive happy, personalized mail in the month of December?
Holiday cards and good wishes make me so happy and I just wish I could ration them throughout the entire year instead of having a card-receiving drought January-November and overload during Christmastime.
