Argh. I do not have the original source for this image…but it was too great not to post. Selfies have been going on way before there were even cameras…there’s something both reassuring and unsettling about our compulsion to recreate our own image. Oh man. This is getting too deep. Regardless, I love this.
Awesome business card that unfolds to create a miniature tennis court.
The culture of filmmaking is antagonistic toward chaos. Most movies are designed to maximize order and structure. But if you come into a production with a preordained vision of how everything is going to be, you risk squeezing out spontaneity and ending up with this sanitized thing. Magpie comes a calling
Drops a marble from the sky

Don’t let this fading summer pass you by… — Neko Case
Oh hey, Tauruses. Taurusi? That looks weird. Whatever. IT’S YOUR BIRTHDAY MONTH! So happy birthday to you! Some of my very favorite folks are Tauruses - and they’re good people. So let’s discuss.
Taurus—the bull—is an Earth sign. I went with greener hues, but wanted to still keep everything fresh and modern. Tauruses are known for being dependable, clever and persistent. They’re usually great in business. Their patience and resourcefulness really add to their whole “feet on the ground” mentality. They’re not daydreaming, absent-minded folk. Nope. Not one dot. Practical. Determined. When they put their minds to something, it’s going to happen. Period. Oh, they also make super faithful friends.
Happy Birthday, Taurus! Keep sticking it to the man.
