I usually don’t get very political on here. I try to keep this blog a safe place for good design, new ideas, advertising awesomeness, personal anecdotes and creative pop culture nuggets. But sometimes political stuff creeps up…like right now. The image above is from the new Tumblr blog ‘Binders Full of Women’ which was created in response to a comment by Mitt Romney last night during the debate. The blog launched, and had at least a dozen posts, before the debate was even over. Oh, Internet. You’re amazing. That being said, last night’s debate deeply disturbed me. I’ve never had too many negative things to say about good ol’ Mittens other than the fact that he’s stiff, vague and probably an awkward party guest who accidentally insults you and every other guest before appetizers. Oh, and we basically disagree politically about everything. But last night was a real wakeup call. Hearing him talk about women was not just outdated and out-of-touch, but all his interrupting and bullying made it abundantly clear that, in general, he doesn’t give a shit what anyone else thinks or says about anything.  Ok, end rant.
